LAPD Hosts DUI Checkpoints for Labor Day

As Labor Day approaches Los Angeles Police Department has announced a series of DUI checkpoints to help keep all motorists safe. The maximum enforcement period begins at 6:59 PM on Friday evening and will continue through Monday night at 11:59 PM.

Checkpoints will happen tonight at the following locations:

– 7 PM to Midnight at Manchester Avenue and Main Street

– 8 PM to 1 AM at Fairfax Avenue and Fifth Street

– 9 PM to 2 AM at Figueroa and Ninth Street

DUI checkpoints and increased saturation [atrols will take place all weekend to remove drunk drivers from the roads. If you are going to be drinking make sure you plan ahead and get a taxi or designate a sober driver. You can also use Uber and Lyft this weekend so you are not drinking and driving.
