In the state of Colorado, any and all of the following may constitute a violation:

A skipped rolling retest
Tampering with the Ignition Interlock Device in any way
Any breath sample that registers a BrAC above .025 percent

"Considering this is an embarrassing court ordered “ adventure” This experience has been pleasant all the way around. The customer service reps were great! The device is incredibly easy to use. The cost is well below all the other companies I researched. I started out with an Intoxalock and that was a nightmare from the git go. It was almost impossible to use, I would get locked out for no reason. Their customer service people were impossible to understand. So, if you are on a court ordered “adventure” I highly recommend this company over any of the others. I researched all 8 that the state accepts and smart start was easily the very best. Everything has been on the up and up from the first phone call to the ease of use. "
