Getting a DWI in Arkansas can make you subject to significant financial penalties. Arkansas law defines the specific penalties that apply to DWI charges:

• $150-1,000 for a first offense
• $400-3,000 for a second offense within five years
• $900-5,000 for a third or subsequent offense within five years of the first offense

This fine does not include other costs you might incur, such as court costs and attorney fees. As noted by the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration, you’ll also need to pay a $150 fee to have your license reinstated once your suspension is over.
