Do I have to switch from A1 Interlock / Skyfine USA to another Interlock company?
Yes, A1 Interlock/Skyfine is no longer certified by the State of Utah. Failure to replace your device could result in a lockout where your vehicle will not start. Please refer to the Utah DPS website for more details.
When should I replace my A1 Interlock/Skyfine interlock device?
You should replace your device as soon as possible and definitely before your next regularly scheduled service you had with A1 Interlock/Skyfine. Please know that at some point your device will lockout and prevent your vehicle from starting.
How do I return my A1 Interlock/Skyfine Interlock Device?
Smart Start will remove the A1 Interlock/Skyfine Interlock Device from your vehicle at the same time we install the Smart Start Ignition Interlock Device. We will then return all components of the A1 Interlock/Skyfine Interlock Device to you to take back to the location where you had the A1 Interlock/Skyfine Interlock Device installed.
