Did you just schedule your Ignition Interlock installation appointment with Smart Start? Your installation day might seem a little overwhelming, but don’t worry! Texas

  • Two forms of photo ID
  • Any court paperwork provided to you
  • Proof of residence
  • Car insurance and vehicle registration
  • Payment for installation and first month’s lease

* Need to use someone else’s vehicle? You will need to have a letter of permission notarized by the owner stating you are allowed to install an Ignition Interlock in their vehicle.


Oklahoma

  • Photo ID
  • Payment for installation and first month’s lease

South Dakota
Smart Start currently does not operate in South Dakota.

  • Photo ID
  • Proof of residence
  • Any paperwork regarding your case
  • Payment for installation and first month’s lease

North Dakota
Smart Start currently does not operate in North Dakota.

  • Photo ID
  • Proof of residence
  • Any paperwork regarding your case
  • Payment for installation and first month’s lease


Montana
Smart Start currently does not operate in Montana.

  • Photo ID
  • Proof of residence
  • Any paperwork regarding your case
  • Payment for installation and first month’s lease


Wyoming

  • Payment for installation and first month’s lease
  • Photo ID
  • Proof of vehicle registration

Colorado

  • Photo ID
  • Proof of vehicle registration
  • Payment for installation and first month’s lease


New Mexico

  • Payment for installation and first month’s lease
