The Meaning of ‘100 Deadliest Days’

The ‘100 Deadliest Days’ is coined by AAA as the most dangerous time to be on the road due to the drastic increase in car crashes from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Last year more than 1,050 people were killed in crashes involving a teen driver, an average of 10 people per day. This is a 14 percent increase compared to the rest of the year alone. These crashes can also specifically mean drunk driving not just among teens but all drivers.
