LockOut Code Agreement 

Please read carefully the following information:

Customers from the state of OK and WA are not eligible for an unlock code due to state regulations. Please contact your local state office if you have questions.

Customers from the states of MI, WI, NE, KS, and IA must call their Smart Start State office during regular business hours for their unlock code.

Please note:

• The unlock code is a ONE time, single use code
• The unlock code does not bypass the functionality of the device. A test must be provided. 
• The unlock code will only work once (typically for 6 hours). State regulations define the time period.  Check your states regulations for guidelines of your particular state. 
• The unlock code expires after 6 hours.  If this occurs, you will be required to tow your vehicle to a Smart Start facility at your own expense.
